Joni Malpede

President and Chief Executive Officer

Joni Malpede joined Rand Financial on April 7, 2008, as the firm’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for floor and back office operations, Global Execution and Information Technology. On August 10, 2009 Joni became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Rand Financial.

Joni brings 30 years of management and industry experience to Rand Financial.  Prior to joining the firm, she served as Vice President of Professional Services at SunGard Futures Systems from 1999 to 2008.  Her industry experience includes responsibility for global clearing operations as Director of Clearing Operations at ING Barings from 1998 to 1999 and Senior Vice President of Futures Operations at First Options of Chicago from 1988 to 1998. Prior to this, Joni worked for C&D Commodities and Refco, Inc.

Joni is a member of the Chicago Board of Trade.
